1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Ami Pro Converter ("the Software"), published by Green 18 Enterprises, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

2. Description of Software / License Grant

Ami Pro Converter is a Windows desktop application for converting Lotus Ami Pro / SAM documents (including companion .STY style sheets) to formats such as Word (DOCX), PDF, RTF, ODT, HTML, Markdown, and plain text. Conversion runs locally on your computer; the Software is not a cloud conversion service, CLI package, developer portal, or remote HTTP convert API.

Upon purchase of a valid license, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Install and use the Software on one (1) computer per license seat
  • Use a personal license for personal use, or a commercial license for business use, as indicated at checkout
  • Keep using the Software forever on the version 6.x line (free updates for version 6.x)

3. Trial Version

The free trial version of Ami Pro Converter provides full functionality for a limited evaluation of up to 10 file conversions. The trial is limited by conversion count, not by a published time clock on this site. After the trial limit, you must purchase a license to continue using the Software.

4. Conversion Library Plus

Conversion Library Plus is an optional add-on that unlocks local search, tags, and document previews of files you converted. Plus requires a matching Standard license (personal or commercial) on the same computer. Plus features run locally on that computer; they do not upload your converted library for search or preview.

5. Licensing / Seats

Each Standard license authorizes installation and use on one computer. Personal and commercial seats are sold as indicated at checkout and in the application. Volume licensing may be handled separately by agreement with Green 18 Enterprises.

6. Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the Software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Rent, lease, or lend the Software to third parties
  • Use a single license on multiple computers simultaneously
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use the Software for any unlawful purpose

7. Intellectual Property

The Software and all copies thereof are proprietary to Green 18 Enterprises / Ami Pro Converter and title remains with us. All rights in the Software not specifically granted in this agreement are reserved.

8. Payment and Refunds

Payment: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are in USD and are subject to change without notice.

Refund Policy: Refunds are provided at our discretion. If the Software is not working for you, please contact us. This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

10. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE.

11. Data Processing

Ami Pro Converter processes all document conversions locally on your computer. We do not have access to your files, and your documents are never uploaded to any server. You are solely responsible for the content of your documents and for maintaining appropriate backups.

12. Updates

Your one-time license includes free updates for version 6.x. Major version upgrades beyond 6.x may require a separate purchase or upgrade fee.

13. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the Software in your possession.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
